China has just revised their 2013 production numbers, increasing their coal production reported by 290 million tons.
This is a 7.9% increase, and the increase alone is equal to about 1/3 of the entire United States output.
China's 'cap' on coal production for 2015 was exceeded in 2013.
More on the story here.
Aren't you as happy as I am that Obama reached an accord with China in which they agreed to do whatever they wanted in regard to pollution, CO2 production, coal usage, power usage and everything else related until 2030?
#China revises 2013 #coal production upwards by 0.29 billion tons, equivalent to 1/3 of all US production! https://t.co/envvkQL7S6 #whoops
