The jackboots are getting scuffed, the inquisition winding down. Rep Grijalva is now saying he 'overreached' when he instituted the congressional intimidation of climate scientists who had the temerity to disagree with some of the claims made by consensus loving climate scientists.

The pushback from all sides of the debate on climate science and related issues has evidently been damaging, more than he can take  without falling in the polls.

Perhaps we can consider this a limited win for science, free thought and freedom of speech, and a push-back against a totalitarian inquisitorial state establishment.
