Prominent climate sceptic, Steve Goddard (Tony Heller) has been silenced by the Twitter team. This has raised some degree of outrage across not just the climate savvy twittersphere, but even MotherNature is in on the action!

Sad that people aren't allowed to hear other side of climate debate RT @ImaBannedd: Yo, @Support! Free @SteveSGoddard from #TwitterGulag!
— MotherNature (@ImMother_Nature) March 23, 2015

Yes you heard that right Mother Nature herself feels that people need to hear all sides of the climate issue. Mother Nature feels we don't
— MotherNature (@ImMother_Nature) March 23, 2015

Other reaction from the twitterverse:

Scientific debate is not permitted! Is that right, @Support? https://t.co/YM0J7xeBp0 - Free @SteveSGoddard!

@Twitter @support 1. Reinstate @SteveSGoddard immediately. 2. Ban the sandbox fascists who abuse your "report" button to shut down opinions.

2 Years ago this advice was offered to help keep from losing accounts. Still relevant.

how to keep out of twitter gulag

The jackboots are getting scuffed, the inquisition winding down. Rep Grijalva is now saying he 'overreached' when he instituted the congressional intimidation of climate scientists who had the temerity to disagree with some of the claims made by consensus loving climate scientists.

Updated!

Blundering witch-finder @RepRaulGrijalva admits his letters went too far, were "overreach" http://t.co/JTU8O9YxXM
— Paul Matthews (@etzpcm) March 3, 2015

The pushback from all sides of the debate on climate science and related issues has evidently been damaging, more than he can take  without falling in the polls.

Perhaps we can consider this a limited win for science, free thought and freedom of speech, and a push-back against a totalitarian inquisitorial state establishment.
